Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which collects anonymous page view data with no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no personal identifiers. I see page counts and performance metrics. I don't see who you are.

Newsletter

If you subscribe via the form on blog posts, your email address is stored by Buttondown, a US-based newsletter service. I use it to send you new blog posts. That's it.

Buttondown uses double opt-in: you'll get a confirmation email before anything is sent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email me at vic@valenzuela.is to request deletion of your data.

No cookies

This site doesn't set cookies. Theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage, which stays on your device.
