Short version: I collect as little as possible and don't sell anything.

Analytics

This site uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand page views and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects anonymous page view data with no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no personal identifiers. When enabled, PostHog runs in cookieless mode and is used for aggregate product analytics such as page views and newsletter form submissions. I don't sell this data or use it to identify individual visitors.

Newsletter

If you subscribe via a newsletter form, your email address is stored by Buttondown, a US-based newsletter service. I use it to send you new blog posts. That's it.

Buttondown uses double opt-in: you'll get a confirmation email before anything is sent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email me at vic@valenzuela.is to request deletion of your data.

No cookies

This site doesn't set cookies. Theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage, which stays on your device.
